Whether you’re looking for fun for kids, adults, or the whole family, we’ve got plenty of ways to enjoy Big Island Hawaii Halloween events & fall festivals.

Though the temperatures aren’t changing too much throughout most of the island, fall is here! That means pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and lots of Big Island Hawaii Halloween events and activities! Whether you’re looking for activities close to home or you’re ready to load up the car and take a drive, there are plenty of events to choose from throughout the month of October. Enjoy!

Welcome to our highly anticipated Halloween fun day! This is a fantastic opportunity to get the keiki on a horse and play some super fun Halloween games! Please RSVP for this event by MONDAY OCTOBER 21ST! (instructions below)

**Please note that Pana’ewa arena is under construction so we will be holding the fun day on the Hunt field at Pana’ewa. This is not an enclosed space so keiki or inexperienced riders should be prepared to be on a lead line if necessary. We always put the safety of our riders first, but it will definitely not interfere with our ability to have a fantastic time!**
~Where~: Pana’ewa Equestrian Center -Hunt (cross country) field
~When~: Saturday October 26th – 10am
~Who~: Any rider who is interested in having a good time with their horse friends! We pride ourselves on a very welcoming and fun loving atmosphere for riders of all ages and skill levels! This day is a particularly keiki/beginner friendly event, but experienced riders are sure to have a fabulous time as well!!
~Cost~: $25 for the day of games – Includes a pizza lunch and beverages!!! And strip ribbons will be awarded for the games 🙂
~What: Tons of games! Musical hula hoops, ribbon pair race, dress up race, polo hit, water in a cup, sit a $5’er, apple bobbing, and candy quests! Also make sure to bring a costume for our famous Costume Class!!!
~How~: We will need everyone planning on attending to RSVP and let us know that you are planning to attend by MONDAY OCTOBER 21ST. If we do not have enough riders RSVP we will be cancelling the event. You can RSVP by simply emailing or messaging us here on Facebook and letting us know which riders are planning on attending. Your $25 fee for the day will be payable that morning as cash or check (please note we may not have change for cash fees but we will do our best to accommodate). 

We are so excited to welcome a whole bunch of riders to this fun day which will be our last riding event for the year!

Autumn Halloween Family Fun Day

The Dharma School Committee is hosting this years “Autumn Halloween Fun Day”.  All affiliate groups and temple members are invited to participate after temple service. Fruit and vegetable carving contest.  There are four categories 1) Spookiest; 2) Original/creative; 3) Beautiful/cute; and 4) Most organic. Submission must be submitted by 8:30 a.m. on October 27. Halloween Costume Parade.  Please assemble by social hall by 10:00 a.m. Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. Keiki friendly costumes are recommended. After the parade we will have photos taken on the stage. Refreshments will be served after activities.
